Personality: Everyone knows that lions are supposed to be the braves one at heart, even if it doesn't show on the outside. Tigers should be strong and Leopards sly.
But, what about the Cougars? The cats that dwell in the forest and have many more names then their cousins. What about them?
To Elmstar, a Cougar does not have to have a certain attribute. But they must be accepting to all cats, big or small, lion or tiger, cougar or leopard. This tom leader is more accepting then his clan would like, some would say he is like Firestar but, the correct way is Firestar is like him.
Elmstar will accept most any cat into his clan, if a tiger crawled to him dying of thirst he would bring them in until they wished to leave. He is like a soft-hearted fool on the outside.
But, on the inside, there burns a fire that is stronger then the ones that could rip through a forest in a single blast. This fire is the thirst that makes Elmstar a good leader. The fire that makes him strong, wise, brave, and loyal to his friends and clan.
Elmstar is like a lion when he must, like a tiger when he needs to protect a cub from death, he is like any cat he needs to be. Elmstar is a protector.
Elmstar is love.
Description: Brown tan fur covers the muscular mass of this animal, his paws are snow white mitts that have tan speckled in them. Making some areas appear dirty white. His tail is long and thick, as strong as the branches of the mighty oaks he climbs.
Elmstar has a thick, broad build but is a very quick cat due to his long body and long limbs.
This tom also has a thick blocky head and a surprisingly narrow snout holds his fuzzy black nose. Elmstar barely has any whiskers due to getting to close to a fire when young, still he has great sense due to his long, round ears.
Elmstar's eyes are a cool green that reminds cats of a Newleaf breeze.
History: On a stormy night, Elmstar was born to Leafdapple and Goldenrod. Two mighty cougars who were formerly of CougarClan. They choose to leave, and asked the current leader to form a lie of them trying to murder Redleaf, Leafdapple's brother, why they wanted to leave was unclear but the leader went ahead and did as she was told.
Leafdapple and Goldenrod wanted to leave because Goldenrod was a Medicine Cat, and he had fathered the kits Leafdapple was to have soon. Even though Elmstar and his siblings were against the warrior code, they lived.
But, StarClan did not have mercy for long and one by one nine of the ten cubs slowly died, like a fire being drowned by water. Elmstar survived from the gifted paws of his father and he grew to be a mighty cat. At four moons Goldenrod was murdered and Leafdapple knew CougarClan had figured out what had happened and had seeked revenge on the golden hued tom.
So, to save Elmstar from the fate of his siblings, so sent him to her old clan and watched for eighteen moons as he son trained beneath the wise words of her brother. When Elmstar, Elmpaw at the time, was about to become a warrior, Leafdapple died of a broken heart and never saw Elmstar receive the warrior name of Elmleaf.
Elmstar does not know much about Leafdapple and Goldenrod but, upon becoming deputy, he did tell the clan who his parents were. No cat doubted that he was worthy to be deputy and he was glad.
He had done some good for his dead parents and siblings.
